Seaweed Snacks

Seaweed snacks are a healthy and flavorful treat made from roasted seaweed, known for their crisp texture and umami flavor. These snacks are rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber, providing a nutritious alternative to traditional chips and crackers. They are light, crunchy, and often seasoned with a variety of spices to enhance their natural taste. Ideal for a quick snack, they are also great as a topping for salads or rice dishes.

Ingredients:

  • Roasted Seaweed (Nori)
  • Olive oil or sesame oil
  • Sea salt
  • Optional: Wasabi powder, soy sauce, garlic powder, or other seasonings (depending on flavor preference)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) if roasting at home.
  2. Place the seaweed sheets on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Lightly brush the seaweed sheets with oil using a pastry brush.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt and any additional seasonings of your choice.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the seaweed becomes crispy and lightly golden.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to a week.
