Directions for Spicy Honey Glazed Salmon
- Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of sriracha (or more for extra heat), and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Whisk until well combined.
- Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, then season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Sear the Salmon: Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet, and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the skin is crispy.
- Flip and Glaze: Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Pour the honey glaze over the salmon, allowing it to bubble and thicken for 1-2 minutes while spooning the glaze over the salmon for even coating.
- Serve: Remove from heat and serve immediately, drizzling any remaining glaze from the pan over the salmon. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired. Enjoy the perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors!
