Ingredients:

For the Chicken Thighs:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Harissa Marinade for the Chicken:
    • In a bowl, combine the harissa paste, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
    • Coat the chicken thighs with the marinade, making sure to rub it into the skin and meat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, to allow the flavors to meld.
  2. Prepare the Crispy Chickpeas:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
